Xbox has just announced a brand-new way to access Xbox gaming without a console, and it’s also one of the simplest and most attainable solutions yet – Amazon’s range of Fire TV sticks.
Both the Fire TV Stick 4K and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max will get access to the Xbox app , allowing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in over 25 supported regions to access the library of available games from just about any TV or monitor. The app will be available for the two Fire TV sticks “soon,” and will work a number of different Bluetooth-enabled wireless controllers aside from an official Xbox Wireless Controller, including the PS5’s DualSense or the PS4’s DualShock 4. It’s clear that Xbox is intent on breaking down as many barriers as possible to get Game Pass and cloud gaming onto every screen imagineable, and this is definitely looking like the most attainable version of that yet.
