It’s been revealed today that Black Myth: Wukong will be coming to Xbox Series X/S on August 20, a year to-the-day after its initial release on PlayStation 5 and PC.
The Xbox version of the game was originally held back due to the developer, Game Science, having trouble optimising the game for Xbox Series S, in particular. The timing, of being a year exactly after its initial launch, is curious, however, the team does have a pattern of announcing and releasing things on this date.
Pre-orders for the Xbox Series X/S version open on June 18th.
The game will also receive a 20% discount across all platforms, with PlayStation’s savings window running from June 18 through to July 3, Xbox running from June 18 to July 11, and PC (for both Steam and Epic Games storefronts between June 20 and July 11.
