Xbox and Meta announced they were working on a headset together about a year ago, and it’s finally been revealed.
The good news is that it looks fantastic, but the bad news is that it’s a super limited once-off drop and it doesn’t appear to be coming to Australia.
The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition includes a Meta Quest 3S headset in Black/Velocity Green with an Elite strap, the Xbox app pre-installed as well as custom black/velocity green Touch Plus controllers and a black/velocity green Xbox controller as well.
Meta is also throwing in three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as well as Meta Horizon+ (it’s subscription service).

- Matching Touch Plus controllers and a limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller

- 3 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
The special edition Xbox Meta Quest 3S will cost $399 USD (~$614 AUD) and come in a 128GB version.
Obviously, you’ll be able to use Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to play Xbox games from the cloud both that you own and those on Xbox Game Pass.
The design is super cool, and that limited edition controller is extra nice as well. At the time of writing, the Meta blog (and Xbox Wire) both say that his is a super limited edition drop with only the US/UK listed, and the Australian Meta store has the listing, but it says that it isn’t available in this region, but we’ll let you know if anything changes.
