Disney Lorcana’s 12th set release, Wilds Unknown, is just around the corner and with it comes a whole new slew of characters, franchises and mechanics to make TCG and Disney fans alike reach for the sky!
Wilds Unknown introduces Pixar to the Disney Lorcana family in the way of Toy Story, Brave and The Incredibles, bringing with them new classifications such as Toy and Super. Alongside fan favourite mechanics and combos to play, these new franchises and classifications are sure to bring a Buzz (pun intended) to Lorcana fans’ playmats and binders.
This set is also introducing new products to the launch line up. Players will now be able to grab the newly repackaged 2-Player Starter Sets which includes two curated decks, making it easy for new players to jump right into the fun. This new starter kit will deliver an Amethyst/Amber Deck and a Emerald/Ruby Deck, with key characters like Mrs. Incredible and Buzz Lightyear included. Also new to the line up is the fresh-faced pre-release boxes, which players will be able to access through their Local Game Store during launch weekend. These pre-release boxes are the ultimate way to kick off a new set for both new and veteran players. They include 6 booster packs, 4 themed dice, a biome postcard and one traveller promo card. So if you’re keen to get your hands on some of these new goodies, be sure to drop into your local game store come launch weekend!
Speaking of new things to get your hands on – we’ve got our hands on one of the NEW cards coming to Disney Lorcana’s Wilds Unknown and have the honour of debuting it to the Disney Lorcana community. So without further ado…
Julieta Madrigal – Caring Baker is a 1 cost Amber character that is sure to cook up a storm come launch of the new set. Like most of the Madrigals in Wilds Unknown, Julieta is able to remove 1 damage from a chosen character or location when she is played as well as whenever she quests – leaning into the great healing, motherly persona she is and making sure the characters on her side of the board are keeping healthy and at their best!
Disney Lorcana’s Wilds Unknown is releasing in May, with Pre-release events and inventory hitting Local Game Stores on May 8, and Mass Retail release happening May 15.
