We can now reveal that Bethesda’s upcoming Dishonored 2 has a 9gb day one patch, on Xbox One at least.
More recently, we’ve definitely seen a resurgence in huge day one patches. It’s much rarer than primarily single-player experiences are released alongside such large day one patches but it’s clear that Arkane Studios wanted to make sure that the experience was as polished as possible.
Dishonored 2 releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on Friday, November 11th.
