This is without doubt one of the coolest things I’ve seen happen in a game. We’ve seen events such as the Star Wars event, but this Travis Scott event was something else.
The event started with in a fairly static manner, with the concert kicking off on a screen, before Travis Scott burst through the screen and a larger than life version of Travis Scott could be seen making his way around the Fortnite map for 10 or so minutes.
The world was constantly changing with each song, players could walk on water, and even falling from the sky looked unlike it ever has before.
The event will be rolling out throughout the weekend with four more performances at midnight tonight, 2pm tomorrow, 1am Sunday and 8am on Sunday.

Friend of the site Brad captured the whole event in stages and it’s well worth a watch.

As the event became a 3D experience, the performance became interactive as you'd race to get a better view just like you would in a real concert or while watching a parade.
The game physics also changed to match the song, speeding up your run or making you float… pic.twitter.com/WEq0ewXzO1

THIS is the future of virtual entertainment. More than just watching a screen. Fully interactive immersive experience.
Instantly made me think of Ready Player One. Custom avatars, voice chat with friends. Imagine this in VR.
People would pay money for a full concert like this. pic.twitter.com/O5h6hdRFCa
