Closing out the Xbox Games Showcase this year was a sneak peek at the next game in the Call of Duty franchise.
Perhaps surprisingly, the next Call of Duty game will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
The game will star Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes or This Is Us if you’re my mum and reading this) as David Mason.
Set to take place in 2035, the game will pit you against a “manipulative enemy who weaponises fear above everything else”.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will presumably be out in 2025 for all major platforms. Will it make the jump to Nintendo Switch 2 this year? We’ll have to wait and see.
