Netflix’s The Witcher series has been highly anticipated since it was announced earlier this year, but it looks like we’re one step closer to getting it into our eye balls.
Netflix has announced on their Twitter account overnight that Henry Cavill AKA Superman will play the series’ lead character Geralt Riviera.
Unfortunately, there’s still no release date, but we know that the series will be eight episodes in length.

Funnily enough, Henry Cavill tweeted this mocked up image of him as the face of Geralt earlier last month, but it’s pretty obvious that he probably knew that he had the role on lockdown at this point.
