One of the surprise announcements of Sony’s conference had to be Remedy’s reveal of their much-anticipated seventh project. It turns out it’s called Control, and honestly, it looks a whole lot like Quantum Break.
Aesthetically it looks super similar to the Xbox One exclusive, with its time-control mechanics and apparently gameplay traits. There’s a certain supernatural element to the game that calls to mind Alan Wake rather than Quantum Break, so perhaps it’s just a mash-up of all the styles Remedy has perfected over its journey.
It’s being published by 505 Games, though there’s no release date as yet.
UPDATE: The game has been confirmed for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
