With the promise of more Babylon’s Fall, a secret Eidos Montreal project, as well as the potential of more Final Fantasy, I don’t think there’s ever been a more anticipated Square Enix conference in the event’s history.
It’s a single-player, story-driven game that sees you playing as Peter Quill. Completely separate from the Avengers game that released last year, it looks to be doing all the right things and captures the humour and the vibe of the Guardians of the Galaxy that we’ve come to know and love. It releases on October 26th 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS. CHAOS.
(It’s releasing for PlayStation and Xbox, and a demo is coming to PS5)

A remake of the game from 1999, Legend of Mana is due to hit on June 24th 2021 for PS4, Switch, and PC.
The coolest thing to come out of this was the War of Wakanda expansion. It’s a free update for all players that brings the awe-inspiring Wakanda to the game.
Square Enix began a bit of a pivot towards mobile, announcing a new Hitman spin-off for the platform. You play as a crew of snipers as you investigate the disappearance of Agent 47.
It’s a canon entry in the NieR series that takes the form of an action command-based RPG. You can pre-register for it on both Android and iOS now.
A battle royale set in the world of Final Fantasy, it’s visually interesting and coming to both major mobile platforms in 2021.
Sending me into a deep depression, the game is a live service title from PlatinumGames. Making me a little bit happier, you can enter dungeons with up to four players wich is cool.
Both Life Is Strange and Life Is Strange: Before The Storm are getting the remaster treatment. Everything looks a little bit more detailed, which is nice. They’re both out September 30th 2021.
The extended deep dive looked at how Alex’s powers will work in the game and how they’ll visualise when you play. It’s still on track for this year.
