Although it’s far from confirmed that we’re in for more Kingdom Hearts 4 news, it has been confirmed that a Kingdom Hearts retrospective panel will be one of the events to headline next month’s D23.
Referred to as a “deep dive” into the franchise’s history, the panel’s description reads:
“Join us for a journey through light and darkness as we commemorate 25 years of Kingdom Hearts. Discover how this saga united Disney, Pixar, and Square Enix, with insights from the creative minds, character voices, and more behind the magic.”
While it may amount to no more than a wholesome look back at the decades-old franchise, fans are crossing their fingers and toes that the event might be a bit of a smokescreen for some new details of the in-development Kingdom Hearts 4.
We last saw the game during Nintendo’s latest Direct, which confirmed the game for a Nintendo Switch 2 release.
