Batman: Arkham Knight Revealed

Rocksteady has been quiet, for a long time now. Dedicated fans have been speculating from the smallest pieces of information, to unravel what the acclaimed developers have been working on. Pieces of promotional material have been floating around, a supposed leak from UK retailer GAME and now finally the official announcement via GameInformers april cover reveal.

Batman: Arkham Knight will take place one year after the events of Arkham City, and will feature several returning villains such as Scarecrow, Two-face, Penguin and Harley Quinn. Who will be a playable character, for those who pre-order. On top of that, we can finally drive the Batmobile. As a result, the world will be bigger to accommodate it. Arkham Knight will the “Epic conclusion” to the series, “We kind of feel like this is the natural end for this story. We really want to go out in style” Said a developer in a a video package over at GameInformer.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be the Dark Knight’s first foray into the next generation, coming in 2014 to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Let’s hope it’s not his last.
