Fast & Furious Coming to Forza Horizon 2

Xbox and Universal Pictures are teaming up to combine the hugely successful “Fast & Furious” movie franchise with the critically acclaimed Forza Horizon series in an original open-world expansion titled Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious.

If you don’t own Forza Horizon 2, don’t worry: Horizon Presents is a standalone expansion. That means you’ll be able to play it without owning a copy of that game. Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious will put you behind the wheel of 11 classic vehicles from the “Fast & Furious” films, including some new ones from the upcoming “Furious 7.” Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, who plays Tej Parker in the films, will also be reprising his role for the game.

To celebrate the April 3 launch of “Furious 7,” Horizon Presents will be FREE to download from March 27 to April 10. After that date, the expansion will cost gamers $10. Players who downloaded it during its free two week window can, of course, continue to play it without restriction.

Author’s Note: Forza Horizon 2 continues to be an amazing game – we sung its praises in our original review. When the Storm Island DLC released late last year it added an entire landmass for players to race on, as well as new vehicles to drive. If this new expansion can match that DLC in scope and content, then I think Xbox One racing fans are in for a treat.
