Crystal Dynamics were also at the conference to show us more of Rise of the Tomb Raider, the second instalment in their Tomb Raider franchise reboot. Where the E3 trailer focused on environmental traversal and stealth combat, this newest trailer emphasized the hard-hitting violence of their new combat engine. Many gamers were disappointed to see such dependence on gore and shooting in the previous Tomb Raider instalment, so its interesting to see it be given such prominence here.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will release first on Xbox One on November 10, 2015. For more information about the PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game click here.
