As the new Fortnite season kicked off yesterday, we learned that your favourite ‘Merc with a Mouth’, Deadpool, will be included as a part of this seasons battle pass.
It’s the latest addition to established characters from comic books and movies that have crossed over with Fortnite. With John Wick, The Avengers, Batman & Star Wars some of the previous crossovers we have seen.
Deadpool was featured front at centre at the end of this season’s battle pass trailer and revealed as the not-so-secret unlockable skin for this season. This is the first time we have seen a Fortnite crossover where players haven’t been able to directly purchase the skin, but it will have to be earned by completing a series of Deadpool specific challenges.
Players will have to journey through their new mission hub to find Deadpool’s room to unlock the challenges. When they complete them, they’ll receive messages from the merc himself.
We’re not sure what else Fortnite has in store for this crossover, but if Deadpool is involved, we are excited to see what does!
