It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, but it looks like more people are gaming online in 2020 than ever before.
In a study conducted by NortonLifeLock, 42% of Australians said they were gaming online regularly. This is up from the 33% that said that they didn’t game online pre-lockdown.
Interestingly enough, with more people buying things online, using online streaming and gaming services, the same survey suggests that nearly 1 in 4 Aussies have experienced cybercrime during the Covid-19 lockdown.
