UPDATE: It looks like we were little off the mark with this one. Netflix and CD Projekt Red are partnering up on The WitcherCon. It’s unclear what we’ll get out of it, but no doubt we’ll get to see more of season 2 of The Witcher.

If these mysterious tweets are to be believed, it seems as if Netflix’s The Witcher Season 2 will launch next month. The Witcher’s official Twitter account Tweeted at The Witcher Netflix asking if they were free on July 9th, which is a Friday (generally when Netflix shows launch).
The first season launched on December 19th, 2019, so we’re definitely due to get that second season in the near future.

Season 2 of The Witcher wrapped production in April after COVID filming. Previously, it had been confirmed that the second season would launch at some point in 2021.

We’ll keep you posted once we have confirmation. It was said that we’d be getting a new trailer at Netflix Geek Week over the weekend, so it does feel a bit odd that they’re teasing this
