Elden Ring’s Open World Souls Gameplay Looks Incredible In 15 Minutes Of New Footage

A massive new gameplay trailer for FromSoftware’s Elden Ring dropped overnight, showing off 15 minutes of jaw-dropping new gameplay.

In the trailer we see a variety of locales from the game’s open world, including glimpses at its huge map. Players will receive map fragments to piece this together as they progress, and can place markers and beacons to help them navigate. We see the player activating useful tools in the world as well, like guiding lights and “Spirit Springs” which hilariously launch them (and their horse) high up into the sky.

We also get glimpses at some boss encounters as well as smaller tussles with regular enemies, some of which are found at encampments across the world that can be snuck into for a stealthy effect.

The trailer also contains a look at multiplayer gameplay, which can range from co-op and invasions to PVP.
