Aussie Rock Band Battlesnake Are Promoting Total War: Warhammer III And They’re Really Into It

After they dropped a car out of the sky, this is just another example of Xbox PR getting it right.

Self-described as a band “forged deep in the fiery pits of the underworld,” Battlesnake is a band I hadn’t heard of prior to this promotional video for Total War: Warhammer III, which is coming to PC Game Pass. They’ve got a gimmick, they’ve brought that gimmick to their official video for “Death Is Like The Winter Chill” which is inspired by the game.

They’re having a lot of fun with it, they remind me of a more epic, somehow less serious Steel Panther.

“When we’re not shredding onstage, we’re normally wielding swords, so any game with swords is a game worth celebrating,” said Elliott Hitchcock of Battlesnake on the collaboration.

“We’re hyped to pay tribute to the legendary Warhammer community and hope that our celebration brings some new Warhammer metal-heads to our
shows in future to watch us get sweaty.”

Total War: Warhammer III is out now for PC Game Pass, and if this video doesn’t put you in the mood for some pillaging I’m not sure what will.
