Although we’d expected the release date for Marvel’s Wolverine to be confirmed at PlayStation’s recent State of Play, PlayStation and Insomniac confirmed this morning that the game will be released on September 15, 2026, for PlayStation 5.
The game’s release, which slots in approximately two months before Grand Theft Auto VI, will come almost a year exactly after the game’s first official gameplay reveal at PlayStation’s State of Play in September of last year.
With Rockstar’s open-world magnum opus occupying valuable real estate in the holiday release schedule, PlayStation has drawn first blood in terms of filling in the dates within the months surrounding it.
