EB Games Is Having A Soda!
Not just a silly in-joke but also the name of a very real soft drink available in select EB Games stores. Yes, EB has created its own, branded soda and you’ll be able to pop by your local EB and pick up a free bottle of the stuff for yourself.
The video game and pop culture retailer ran a series of community competitions on social media back in June/July this year asking for help from its followers to pick a flavour, a name and finally design a label all in the name of creating what is now the red frogs-flavoured “EB Games Is Having A Soda”.
Red frogs beat out lime splice, fairy floss, bubble gum and liquorice as the chosen flavour. I’m still salty about that last one not making the cut (or not salty, as it were).
If you’re keen to snag one for yourself, EB Games has kindly put together a list of which stores will be giving away the soda in celebration of the chain’s 25th anniversary. They’ll be available as of tomorrow, December 31st, and will be strictly one per customer.
These will naturally be in incredibly short supply so if you’re fixin’ to slurp some EB juice, make sure you get around it fast!
