Square Enix has officially revealed the release date for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters on both PS4 and Switch, which were announced late last year.
The collection of the first six, classic Final Fantasy games launches on April 20th in Australia, with the games being made available for purchase individually, priced between $17.95 and $26.95 or as a bundle for $107.95.
It was also revealed that the new ports of the Pixel Remasters, which already launched on PC and mobile last year, will have the option to switch to a between the modern font and OST or a more classic font and the original Nobuo Uematsu-composed soundtracks. Players will also be able to turn off random battles and boost experience gains. Look below for all the details and where to find them:
The first six FINAL FANTASY games have been updated with beautiful new 2D pixel graphics designed to look great on HD displays, rearranged soundtracks overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu and improved gameplay features, including modernised user interface, auto-battle options and more.
Originally released on PC and mobile in 2022, the games are now coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch. They’ll be available to buy digitally, either separately or as a collection comprising FINAL FANTASY I – VI.
