ActivateUTS, the campus life hub for the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), has announced the launch of Australia’s very first Red Bull Gaming Hub – a purpose-built venue that will serve as the home of UTS’ eSports initiatives as well as providing a state-of-the-art gaming attraction for UTS students.
“We are proud to be part of this trailblazing initiative that merges education, technology, and gaming in a new way,” said Stephan Hanna, President of UTS eSports, in a press release. “The Red Bull Gaming Hub provides a platform for gamers and esports enthusiasts to connect, learn, and compete. As the home of the UTS Esports Program, the Red Bull Gaming Hub is set to revolutionise the student experience on campus, providing pathways to professional play.”
The Red Bull Gaming Hub benefits from partnerships with some world-class brands to create a cutting-edge gaming environment equipped with monitors and other peripherals from AOC, top-notch gaming desks and chairs from Secretlab, powerful and feature-packed MSI gaming laptops and BenQ projection systems.
ActivateUTS is throwing a launch event to ring in the opening of its Red Bull Gaming Hub this week, with both UTS students and non-students welcome to book free entry across the day and night of August 30th. The day event will see attendees interact with industry partners, see live demos and even compete in tournaments while the night event will feature food, drinks and music in an energising atmosphere.
