Dragon Ball fans are in for a treat with the upcoming DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero, a brand-new entry in the beloved Sparking!/Budokai Tenkaichi series of fighting games based on the iconic franchise, which is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC at an undisclosed date in the future.
While we still don’t know when it’s launching, we do at least have a shiny new trailer to pore over, which sets up the intense rivalry between mainstays Goku and Vegeta. The tw-minute video is more style than substance but it’s a great watch for fans.
It’s amusing to see Bandai Namco go to every effort to highlight to Western audiences that Sparking! ZERO is part of the classic Budokai Tenkaichi series, aside from just keeping the localised naming convention, but take a look below at the new Goku VS Vegeta trailer for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Along with the video drop, Bandai Namco also revealed the first 24 fighters in what promises to be an enormous roster – and it’s an exciting mix of Goku, Vegeta and… well more Goku and Vegeta:
