The Top 10 Games In Australia And New Zealand

Here's what's charting.

What games have Aussie and New Zealand players been picking up most in recent weeks? That’s the question we’re answering every week with thanks to the weekly Top 10 ANZ Games Charts from the folks over at the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA).

The latest report, which comes from the week ending July 7th, 2024, really hasn’t seen much of a change from the previous list. Elden Ring remains on top, and the remainder of the Top 5 is stacked with the same games we see week in and week out – namely Grand Theft Auto V, EA Sports FC24, NBA 2K24 and Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Aussie side. Evergreen stuff, essentially. The iconic Green Mario has at least managed to stick around, with Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD bumped down to 6th spot but still very much in it.

Elsewhere, I think we’re still seeing the effects of things like Steam’s mid-year sale with a lot of legacy, bargain barrel AAA titles loitering the list sch as Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint and Batman: Arkham Knight. Our friends in New Zealand have also indulged in a little bit of Battlefield V and Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, giving them an outlet for conquest and competition to flex forethought and reflexes in equal measure.

Take a look at the full, updated Top 10 list from both countries below:
