Cult Of The Lamb Is Getting New Paid DLC Along With The Free Co-op Update This Month

Praise the Lamb!

Massive Monster and Devolver Digital have revealed a new paid DLC coming to smash indie hit Cult of the Lamb, launching alongside the upcoming free Unholy Alliance update on August 12th and called the Pilgrim Pack.

The DLC is a collaboration between MM and Carles Dalmau, and will feature an all-new, interactive digital comic for players to experience along with new in-game content like Follower quests and forms, outfits and decorations. It’s quite a neat idea – adding new story via a new medium and then expanding on the base game with new content from that story, and it’ll only be $10.49 AUD on PC (TBA but around $14 on console).

“In the story of Pilgrim you’ll join Jalala and Rinor as they journey across the Lands of the Old Faith, searching for a place to call home,” reads the official description of the comic. “If they can survive the dangerous Cultists looking for new sacrifices, the terrifying creatures hunting for a meal, and the strange mushroom-peddlars… not to mention rumours of a wicked beast who stalks the land, searching for their next victim… then they might just make it.”

The Pilgrim Pack will include:

  • The full Pilgrim story and bonus pages
  • Two unique Follower quests
  • Five new Follower forms
  • Two new outfits for your Followers to wear
  • Five new decorations

Dropping on the same day will be Cult of the Lamb’s Unholy Alliance update, which adds local co-op play to the game including new twists on existing minigames, new options in combat, co-op crusades and a heap more. Along with the new gameplay features there’ll also be new gear, buildings, follower content and other fun stuff. It’s a totally free update for owners of the game, and coming to all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
