Sucker Punch has announced a heap of new content coming to Ghost of Yotei including a new story expansion, a new roguelike mode and a Complete Edition that ties it all together, with all of this new content launching on October 1st.
Ghost of Y?tei: Echoes of Sekigahara is a new narrative expansion that will take players between present day and flashback to Atsu’s time on the mainland. It’ll introduce Nagato a figure from Atsu’s past and we’ll be able to explore an unseen valley with new enemies, new heavy weapons, armor sets and dyes available.
Ghost of Yotei: Most Wanted is a new single-player combat survival mode where you’ll accept bounties to start new runs and gain perks once you take down enemies and unlock additional players that you can play as.
Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition was also revealed and will include the full game, the story expansion the new survival mode as well as a bunch of in-game bonuses. Those that own the original game will be able to upgrade for $15 USD (~$20 AUD).
There’s also a free update coming for all players which adds a Beauty of Yotei mode that will allow for a screensaver like view of the environment as well as a bunch of other quality of life improvements too.
