Nintendo just released a brand new firmware update for the Nintendo Switch. The system now sits at Version 2.2.0.
Unfortunately, I hope you weren’t expecting anymore than stability as that’s all it contains at first glance. It’s quite possible that it fixes some minor issues, but we’ll need to do more testing to see if this is the case.
Nintendo’s update log states:
Improvements Included in Version 2.2.0
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience
We’d expect that the first major Nintendo Switch firmware update will come around E3 time.
