Nintendo Australia has confirmed that the Splatoon 2: Splatfest World Premiere will take place on Sunday, July 16th from 8:00am to 12:00pm AEST.
To take part, you’ll need to download the free demo client from the Nintendo Switch eShop and choose a team before the Splatfest begins on the 16th. You’ll need to think long and hard about whether you prefer cake or ice-cream as that’s what the Splatfest is based on.
As soon as you download the demo, you’ll be able to vote for your dessert of choice and also share drawings in support of your team.
Splatoon 2 will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on July 21st.
