I Hope This Tweet Means Assassin’s Creed Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

Earlier today, I posted about the fact that Nintendo were obviously trolling all of us who are very patiently (ha) waiting for the next Nintendo Switch.

Well, a bunch of gaming brands responded to the tweet with their characters on fire. All of the other brands are games that exist on Switch (Mega Man, Sonic, Doom), however it was the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account that responded, which immediately led me to the hope that Assassin’s Creed: Origins could be coming to Nintendo Switch.

Mario + Rabbids was one of the best selling games on Switch last year (also from Ubisoft) and there’s no question in my mind that Assassin’s Creed would sell well on the Switch, but I have serious doubts about whether it’d be able to run.

Time will tell I guess. It’s obvious to me that Ubisoft and more other third-party publishers will want to bring games to the Switch, with it selling like absolute wildfire at the moment.
