Nintendo has just announced that a Mario Kart game called Mario Kart Tour will come to smartphones between April 2018 and March 2019. It’s expected that it will release on both iPhone and Android devices.

Nintendo hasn’t revealed any more information about the game, and it’s unclear if this will be a fully fledged Mario Kart game but it’s definitely insane to think that their most popular franchise is coming to smartphones.
This is the forth Nintendo game to come to smartphones after Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing all released with great success.
