Nintendo has published a pretty lengthy FAQ about Nintendo Labo. There’s some pretty interesting tidbits of information, which we’ve rounded up below:
Nintendo Labo Toy-Con creations should last a long time when used and treated properly. If your creations do need repairs, you can often make them with common household materials like tape and glue.
Also, we recommend keeping the cardboard sheets, even after the pieces have been removed from them. You can use the empty space left by the removed pieces as stencils to trace and cut out spare parts from the empty bits of the remaining cardboard.
An additional sheet of engineered cardboard is included with each kit that you can use to customize your Toy-Con creations. For example, the sheet for the Variety Kit includes an additional roof for the Toy-Con House, while the sheet included with the Robot Kit includes a customization piece for the robot visor
Nintendo also recommends that you put all the moving bits inside of other large Labo kits, so that you can store it into a massive box. They’ve included an image of how this can be done below.
It’s hard to believe that Nintendo Labo is releasing this week, but you’ll be able to pickup both the Variety Kit and Robot Kit on April 20th.
