For months, there’s been rumours of a Nintendo Switch Mini (which was revealed overnight) and a Nintendo Switch Pro.
It’s now been revealed that Nintendo has submitted a “Class II Permission Change” to the FCC which is essentially submitting a request to change an existing device on the market. With this in mind, it’s now looking likely that the original Switch will be getting updated. It’s unclear if Nintendo will make a big deal about this or just stealth upgrade it in a future production run.
The upgrade is set to bring an upgraded processor as well as flash storage in the device. This processor would presumably bring better graphics as well as a better battery life.
