Nintendo Switch Games Are Still Selling Insanely Well

Every time one of these updates are released, it blows my mind just how well the first-party Nintendo Switch games are selling.

Let some of these stats sink in. In nine days, Zelda: Link’s Awakening sold 3.13 million copies. The last 2D Zelda came (A Link Between Worlds) only sold four million copies in its entire life cycle. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is pushing 20 million units and Super Mario Party is another huge seller at nearly 8 million units. It’s also worth mentioning that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has now overtaken the best selling 3DS game (Mario Kart 7).

As for the console itself, it’s just clicked over 41 million units which is pretty impressive. It’s still got a while to go before reaching the Wii (at 100 million units), but it’s definitely on track to do so.
