Nintendo’s online services (including Nintendo Switch, Wii U, 3DS and Web) are down for some users.
People were reporting the outage on Twitter, before Nintendo confirmed that it was having issues with network services. This includes accessing the Nintendo eShop, downloading games, playing games online and accessing games on a secondary console. Down Detector Australia recorded a surge in outages at 9:30 pm suggesting that this issue has been going on for the last couple of hours.
I can’t remember a time (at least since the Nintendo Switch released) that Nintendo’s online services went down, so it must be related to a huge amount of users, or maybe people trying to preload Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You can stay up to date with the latest HERE.
