A bunch of Aussies will get a decent head-start playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons getting the game a full 24 hours before most of us will have the chance.
We first saw this on Twitter, after one Melbourne gamer had his copy was shipped yesterday, before he got an email saying that his copy would be arriving today. Low and behold, just a couple of hours later it showed up at his house.
Oh wait someone else just brought it in inside already #ACNH pic.twitter.com/YxC4XVBOoI

After initially posting this story, people were quick to comment on our Facebook page that they’ve had their Amazon deliveries show up today as well.
Interestingly enough, there is a day one patch (update 1.1.0) that has just launched. Contained in this patch is online functionality as well as a Bunny Day event that’s happening on April. There’s also special items for those that own both Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well as Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp on mobile devices.
