Pokemon Diamond And Pearl Nintendo Switch Remakes Are Apparently Coming This Year

Pokemon Center is reporting that one of the first announcements to come out of Pokemon’s 25th anniversary year will be Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl remakes for Nintendo Switch. The games originally released on Nintendo DS in 2006 and are almost universally seen as two of the best Pokemon games.

The outlet goes on to report that Nintendo will reveal the remakes in February and that these will be proper remakes and not apart of the Pokemon Let’s GO brand in which we saw come to life with Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu and Let’s GO Eevee in 2018.

We got confirmation overnight that New Pokemon Snap will be releasing on April 30th. We already know that Katy Perry will be releasing the theme song for the celebration, and no doubt we’ll be getting a bunch of other announcements throughout the year.

We’ll obviously keep you posted on any announcements, but if the last few years hadn’t already delivered, it’s obvious at this point that 2021 is going to be an exciting year for Pokemon fans.
