Baten Kaitos 1 And 2 Are Getting The Remaster Treatment

Both games will launch on Nintendo Switch later this year.

Nintendo held its first major direct this morning, and it was stacked with heaps of announcements, both new and old.

One of the worst-kept secrets was the confirmation of a long-running rumour that Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos: Origins would be making a return on the Nintendo Switch.

Both games were previously released for the Gamecube towards the end of the console’s life cycle and featured a deck-based battle system that wasn’t entirely terrible like most deck-based battle systems can be.

The package will be available in the American summer, so expect it before the end of August.
