Nintendo capped off a fairly stacked Nintendo Direct today with the reveal of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, a brand-new 2D side-scrolling Mario platformer that looks to capture the fun and multiplayer chaos of the New Super Mario Bros. games with a gorgeous new, slightly painterly/hand-drawn art style.

Also, Mario can turn into an elephant. A new item called a “Wonder Flower” looks to really mix things up in levels, other flowers can talk, Daisy is playable. It’s a whole lot.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is due to launch on the Switch on October 20th. Pre-orders are live now on the eShop for $79.95.

From the Nintendo eShop description:

“Classic Mario side-scrolling gameplay is turned on its head with the addition of Wonder Flowers! These game-changing items trigger spectacular moments you have to see to believe. Witness pipes coming alive, wreak havoc as a giant spiky ball, and see even more unexpected events called Wonder Effects.
