Nintendo has confirmed the exact timing for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Nintendo Direct. Unlike the original Nintendo Switch reveal that took place in the middle of the day for us, unfortunately this one is happening late at night, mostly due to it still being DST (by a few days) here in Australia.
NINTENDO SWITCH 2 NINTENDO DIRECT TIMES AUSTRALIA
The Nintendo Direct for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be taking place on Thursday April 3rd (Melbourne/Sydney) or Wednesday, April 2nd (rest of Australia).
- Thursday 00:00 AEDT (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra)
- Wednesday 11:30pm ACDT (Adelaide)
- Wednesday 11:00pm AEST (Brisbane)
- Wednesday 10:30pm ACST (Darwin)
- Wednesday 9:00pm AWST (Perth)
We don’t know a lot about what the Nintendo Direct for Nintendo Switch 2 will hold with Nintendo indicating that it will provide a “closer look at the Nintendo Switch 2”. It’s expected that we’ll probably get a look at a bunch of games, more specific feature information about the Switch 2 and a price/release date seem likely given it’s rumoured to be releasing in the middle of the year.
Hands-on events around the world will happen straight after the event concludes which gives us a pretty good indication that it’ll be a total blow-out of information.
