In perhaps what will be the bombshell announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal event for most, FromSoftware revealed their next game, The Duskbloods, which is set to launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.
The game, which is very Bloodborne-coded with its Gothic leanings, is set to launch in 2026. The game is described as “a PvPvE title with online multiplayer at its core, where up to 8 players vie for supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes.”
Hidetaka Miyazaki’s absence from the Elden Ring Nightrein team now makes sense as he’s heading up this title after having shipped most of FromSoftware’s genre-defining back catalogue, including Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring itself.
