Although Nintendo Switch 2 players aren’t able to hop into the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 open beta until next weekend, footage has been released online showing the game in action on the console.
BoTalksGames took to YouTube to post a lengthy fifteen-minute video showing off a heap of docked gameplay across a few maps and modes, and there’s also a few other videos floating around from the likes of Spawn Wave and other creators too.
The game looks pretty good in motion, running at 60 frames per second while docked. Like many shooters, Modern Warfare 4 will also take advantage of the machine’s rather bespoke Joy-Con mouse functionality.
Call of Duty hasn’t featured on a Nintendo platform since Call of Duty: Ghosts back in 2013; however, Xbox made the commitment during its acquisition of Activision-Blizzard to bring the franchise to all services, including Nintendo, which Xbox committed to for the next decade.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to release on October 23 this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-order the game on Amazon for $89, including free delivery.
