Galaxy in Turmoil, which is a fan-made game based on the cancelled Star Wars Battlefront 3 is going to be heading to Steam for free. Valve have green-lit the project due to the fact that it will be given away for free. This should hopefully stop Disney from copyright claiming the project.
It is being developed by Frontwire Studios and was previously named “Project Rebuild (FRD) BF3”. The studio also has plans to released free DLC or the title in the future.
We now know that Star Wars Battlefront 3 was in development at Free Radical and was due to be released before Lucasarts cancelled the title.
Galaxy in Turmoil, should hopefully be available for download in the near future. It is not yet complete according to the developers.
