Wubba Lubba Dub Dub! Rick and Morty VR is Here

Thanks to a collaboration between Job Simulator’s Owlchemy Labs and Adult Swim Games, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift is now available on Steam, having been announced mid last year. It seems as if Rick and Morty fans are being truly spoiled this month, having additionally celebrated the premiere of the show’s third season on April 1st. The game is currently priced at USD$29.99 and is short, sharp and sweet, according to players, requiring only an hour or so to complete.

As previously reported, the game takes place predominantly in Rick’s garage and as a Morty clone, it’s up to you to explore the Smith household and complete tasks assigned to you by Rick himself as he yells at you about your incompetence. Additionally, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality has 18 in-game achievements that include “Eat poop”, “Give yourself a high five.” and the rather vague but intriguing “Achieve your ultimate purpose.”.

Sadly, we have not yet seen any indication that there might be a PSVR version of the game, likely due to the fact that the game was already in development when the unit was announced. Still, Job Simulator is available via the PlayStation store so hopefully, Owlchemy is working on eventually doing the same with Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality.
