Starting today, Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to Fall Guys in a crossover that makes about as much sense as any of the others so far. Given Sega is celebrating their 60th anniversary, having the ‘Blue Blur’ come to one of the year’s biggest hits seems like a sensible move.
The skin will be available in the game’s store and, like all other crossover skins we’ve seen so far like Scout from Team Fortress and Jacket from Hotline Miami, both the top and bottom halves of the costume will be purchasable with crowns. Fortunately for those who constantly snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, crowns aren’t as hard to come by as they were in the battle royale’s first season, just by progressing through the season pass you can net yourself just over 20.
The crossover did leak last week, though it was confirmed by developer Mediatonic during a Sega-themed livestream they hosted recently.

Given how aggressively brands were circling Mediatonic during the explosive debut of Fall Guys, I’d expect this to be the first of many weird and wonderful crossovers we see.
