In a short reel, Square Enix this morning confirmed they’re bringing the first six Final Fantasy titles to PC and mobile under the banner Final Fantasy: Pixel Remaster.

It won’t be the first time these games have seen re-releases, although these remasters will endeavour to keep the game’s original charm and preserve the original graphics.
The games are releasing individually on Steam for PC and mobiles at this stage with no word on whether they’ll come to consoles at a later date.
