If Valve finally bringing the Steam Deck to Australia wasn’t enough for you, it’s now revealed a Limited Edition White Steam Deck OLED and it’ll be launching on the same day that the Steam Deck does into Australia.
The White Steam Deck OLED will come with white/grey accents, a matching white carrying case and also a white cleaning cloth, to complete the entire look. It’s fairly stunning if I do say so myself.
Just like the translucent black model that released alongside the OLED and sold out extremely quickly, this will only be available as one limited drop.
It’s available in the 1TB OLED model and it will be $50 more than the standard at $1,099 AUD. It will be available to order with the Steam Deck goes on sale in Australia (alongside every other market that the Steam Deck is available) at 10:00am AEDT on November 19th (today).

Just in case you’re not as familiar with the two models, The Steam Deck OLED has a larger 7.4-inch HDR OLED display with 1000 nits of peak brightness. The refresh rate has been updated to 90hz and the latency of the touch screen has also been improved.
The device has a larger 50whr battery (up from 40 whr) and combined with a more efficient APU, you can expect a 30-50% better battery life which Valve says is good for 3-12 hours of gaming depending on what you’re playing. Despite the device having a larger screen and a larger battery, the total weight has been reduced by 30 grams or 5% which should make a big difference in comfort.
