ORIGINAL STORY: This is something we never thought would come. According to Simscommunity (and backed up by multiple teases by EA), it looks as though The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are both getting re-released for Windows 10/11 this week.

Both games will able to be purchased separately as well as together as a special 25th anniversary bundle. This marks the first time that these games have been playable (without some serious workarounds) on newer platforms.
