As we build towards the launch of Doom: The Dark Ages, which is set for release next month, Microsoft and Bethesda are seemingly starting to hit top gear in marketing their upcoming boomer shooter prequel.
In a somewhat unexpected turn, we’re set to get a teaser for the game’s upcoming second trailer during WWE WrestleMania 41.
A tweet from the Doom account suggests it’s to appear in an ad break on the second night of the two-night event, which, after you factor in time differences, would be Monday morning for Aussie audiences.
It’s not only neat to see Xbox promoting its first Doom game since acquiring Bethesda rather aggressively, but it’s also cool to see a premiere event like WrestleMania used for big trailer debuts in the same way the Super Bowl is.
