Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Spotted With Xbox One Controls

Vicarious Visions Artist, Kara Zisa who was responsible for creating the save/load screens for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has uploaded footage of the game to her portfolio, but the interesting thing is the fact that the the entire footage contains Xbox controls.

It's not entirely shocking and this isn't concrete information that the game will come to Xbox, but it definitely gives us another reason to believe that it probably will come to Xbox. It's harder to guess when the game will make its way across as it's clear that the game is selling PlayStation units. It's not unreasonable to expect that we won't see it on other platforms until next year.

It's been very unclear since the game was first announced over a year ago (and increasingly more confusing) about whether theCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy would be exclusive to PS4. It was initially thought to be the case after PlayStation Ireland Tweeted out that the game was exclusive, but then they deleted the Tweet just a day after putting it live putting more petrol on the fire.

Here in Australia, EB Games was marketing it as a PlayStation 4 exclusive for months, before changing their marketing and removing the 'Only on PlayStation' tagline from the marketing.

  • Xbox people wanting to play crash? Nah fuck you, you dont deserve to play crash if you have sided with the enemy

  • I'm getting sick of seeing Xbox controls on games that devs are not trying to make clear will come to Xbox. Microsoft should make this practice illegal and sue every dev that does it.

    • Really and where's your proof it's not happening since it's Activision and they've never released a game on only 1 platform. Sony don't own the rights as they only own the rights to the original games that came out for ps1. Since the N sane trilogy was made using a whole new engine and assets it can go to any platform once the timed exclusivity is up just like Dead Rising 3 went to pc all activision need to do is publish it themselves and Sony can't do shit.

  • If it's on YouTube it's gotta be real!
But seriously, I would love to see Crash on the Xbox. I'm not going to rush out and buy a PS4 for it, nor lose any sleep if it never did come to Xbox.
But with the continual lack of it's official exclusivity or not, does tip in the scales in favour of multi platform. (Personal opinion)
Also, the YouTube vid has been removed.
